one of the
hardest lessons is to
be patient
when becoming
something you've never been
circles of mist
linger around us
the trembling afterglow
it's so so cold
all I want now
is a cup of coffee
to melt myself
fate does have a way
of sticking it's foot out
and tripping you up
raspberries in maple syrup
warm up

solid and sure
a shawl
that I can
wrap around
